At Memphis College Prep, we have three core values that are central to our mission of academic excellence and character development for our scholars. Firstly, we prioritize student academic achievement above all else. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to ensure that our scholars receive the support they need to succeed from kindergarten to college.

We assess their progress frequently and use data strategically to drive achievement, always keeping our ambitious goals in mind. Secondly, we believe in the power of community and teamwork. We know that preventing the achievement gap requires a collective effort, which is why we foster a close-knit community of hardworking and driven individuals who support and respect each other.

Together, we work as a team to fulfill our mission. Finally, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members. We believe that investing in our people is key to our school’s success. That’s why we provide extensive professional development opportunities, including two to three weeks of training each summer and multiple days throughout the year to analyze data and learn proven instructional techniques. We want our teachers to grow as educators and professionals because that’s what’s best for our scholars. We believe that we can always do better, and we support our team members to do so.
