Tyree Daniels brings nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry as a municipal banker and securities trader to Memphis College Prep. A graduate of the Leadership Academy Fellows program, Mr. Daniels provides investment-banking services to municipalities and governmental entities throughout the Mid-South. Prior to his current position as Vice-President of Fixed Income Banking, Mr. Daniels aided in increasing revenue 40% over two years with the Fixed Income Municipal Trading and underwriting department of Morgan Keegan Co. Mr. Daniels’ extensive experience in finance and budgeting will ensures that Memphis College Prep stays financially sound and accountable. Mr. Daniels earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis.

Maggie CooperMaggie Cooper

Lewis Thomason, P.C. 

Maggie Cooper is a lawyer with the Memphis office of Lewis Thomason, P.C., where she specializes in civil litigation.  A native Memphian, Ms. Cooper is a graduate of the public school system, including the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications, and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  

In addition to her role with Memphis College Prep, Ms. Cooper holds leadership positions in the Junior League of Memphis and the Memphis Bar Association.  In 2013, Ms. Cooper graduated from the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law program.  She will complete the American Bar Association TIPS Leadership Academy in 2015.

Sean Montesi

Sean Montesi is currently a member of the investment team at Gerber/Taylor Management Co., a Memphis-based employee-owned investment management firm with approximately $5 billion in assets under management. Prior to his current position, Mr. Montesi was an investment banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta, and has experience in private equity and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Montesi is a graduate of the New Memphis Institute Fellows program, and in addition to his role with Memphis College Prep, currently serves on the finance committee of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Montesi earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.

Andrew Holmes

Legal Counsel
Executive Financial Services Inc.

Andrew has served as legal counsel since 2010 to Executive Financial Services, Inc., a boutique ESOP consulting firm in Germantown.  Andrew concentrates on transaction structure and design and analyzes the tax and financial impact that an ESOP transaction will have on a company.  He also delivers live seminars and conducts monthly webinars on various ESOP-related topics.  

Andrew is a native Memphian and an alumnus of Christian Brothers High School.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, and earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  In his spare time, Andrew enjoys traveling with his wife, Natalie.

Christie Johnson currently serves as the Business Development Manager at Duncan-Williams, Inc.  She cultivates new and existing depository relationships and maintains connections with various trade organizations. She also coordinates institutional customer events, continuing education and the new hire training program.  Previously, Christie worked as a Marketing and Events Specialist at FTN Financial where she was responsible for all customer events across the country.  Christie is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Board Meetings:
The Memphis College Prep Board of Directors meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public and held at Memphis College Prep: 1500 Dunn Avenue Memphis, TN 38106.
